Ciao bellos e bellas! So, if you don't know by now, my up and coming company, Blooming Rose, has a fully-loaded myspace- with a frequently updated blog, celeb fashion and events section. So pretty please check it out and tell your friends. The actual website is coming soon, and you guys will be the first to know when it's launched. I'm thinking of throwing a launch party, but we'll see!

N-HARLEM NY

If you're in NY and love fashion than you probably know about N-Harlem. It's a wonderful black-owned boutique smack dab in Harlem. It's uber-fabulous. They sell both men and womens clothing---from G-Star to Tracy Reese.

Today they will be having its "First Wed Party." It will be a fantastic event to network.

WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT DIY??

School of Visual Arts is having A Do-It-Yourself Panel Discussion Thursday, November 15 at 7pm.

YouTube and Flickr are just two of the latest incarnations of the Do-It-Yourself ethic, which has shaken up markets and created new communities. Arts and media leaders at the forefront offer some perspective: Vanessa Bertozzi, editor in chief and director of communications, Etsy, the online retailer of handmade goods; Steve Englander, director, ABC No Rio community-based arts center; David Reinfurt/Stuart Bailey of Dexter Sinister: Just-in-Time Workshop & Occasional Bookstore; and John Strausbaugh, a regular contributor to The New York Times, The Washington Post and Cabinet. Moderated by SVA students Michaela Murphy and Tarah Rhoda; organized by faculty member Amy Wilson.

Amphitheater
209 East 23rd Street, 3rd floor
Free and open to the public.

YAY FOR THE NEW MUSEUM!!

Ok, so my co-worker at Custo Barcelona in SoHo told me about The New Museum opening and I hadn't heard about it and one of my fave pastimes is going to muesums! I decided to check out the website and I'm really excited about it! The website designer has to be the same one who did Urban Outfitters', because both sites have extremely similar styles. It opens December 1 on 235 Bowery. To get more info on it, hit the link.

Have a wonderful weekend folks!
